Cerebral Palsy - what a mountain to climb, but climb she did! To all who know her, Mary Ann Hennosy's zest for life has been a powerful testimony to God's amazing grace in the midst of adversity. [ see bio ] Despite the limitations imposed by Cerebral Palsy, Mary Ann has demonstrated an indomitable spirit. In 1977, under the watchful eye and coaching of artist Betty Blue, Mary Ann began her career as an artist using a system of sandbags and pulleys which help steady and control her movements.
Mary Ann has reproduced her original oil paintings (including landscapes, lighthouses, florals and more) onto 4.5 x 5.5 inch single fold notecards using high grade cardstock. Her holiday themes make beautiful Christmas cards! Envelopes are also included. [ view notecard series ]
Over the past 15 years, Mary Ann has painstakingly created a gallery of original works. For the first time these original oil paintings are being offered to the public on a first-come, first-serve basis. 8x10 prints are also available for all artwork displayed in the gallery. [ visit the gallery ]
